Welcome to Gurkha On the Green, a charming village pub in Brampton, Huntingdon, soon to reopen with an exciting new identity. Formerly known as Hare on the Green, we are bringing a fresh twist to the local dining scene by offering a fusion of authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine, alongside classic British pub favourites.

Do you offer vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. We offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, including authentic Nepalese and Indian curries, starters, momos, and side dishes. Please let our team know your dietary preference when ordering.
Do you have a bar or serve alcoholic beverages?
Yes. We have a fully licensed bar serving a selection of beers, wines, premium spirits, cocktails, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. We recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends and for larger groups. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.
Is parking available?
While we do not have on-site parking, there is plenty of free parking available on the surrounding streets, just a short walk from the pub.
What cuisines do you serve?
We specialise in authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine, alongside selected British pub favourites. Our menu offers a unique blend of traditional Himalayan flavours and classic pub dining.
Do you cater for events or private parties?
Yes. We cater for birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations, business events, and private functions. Advance notice is required for all event bookings. We also offer takeaway catering for birthday parties and special occasions, with menus tailored to your requirements.
Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?
Yes. We take food allergies seriously. Please inform a member of our team before placing your order, and we'll do our best to accommodate your dietary requirements.
How spicy is your food?
Our dishes can be prepared to suit your preferred spice level, from mild to extra hot. Simply let your server know your preference.
Do you offer takeaway and delivery?
We currently offer takeaway collection only and do not provide a delivery service at this time. Takeaway is generally available on weekdays and during limited hours at weekends, subject to how busy the restaurant is. Availability is at the discretion of management, and we reserve the right to refuse takeaway orders during exceptionally busy periods to ensure the best dining experience for our guests.
